You’ll see that numbers 1 and 2 are pre-mapped to Health and Mana Potions. Note that these numbers correspond to the numbers on the top of your keyboard.

Between these are a series of numbered squares. On the left side is a big red orb representing your Health, on the right side another bar representing your Mana (magical energy). The bottom of the screen is dominated by your status bar. Stars show the way to quest goals and waypoints. Indicators on the edges of the map tell you which way to go. Early level mages should go full Focus, Outlanders should improve Dexterity, Berserkers should increase Strength and Engineers should allocate to both Strength and Vitality. Strength is damage, Dexterity governs speed and evasion, Focus determines magical potency and Vitality is tied to Health. Every time you level up you will receive five Stat points to allocate among four abilities: Strength, Dexterity, Focus and Vitality. Initial character creation is quick, but you'll level up within minutes of your first encounter, and that's where you character design really begins.
